Technique 1: Run an SFC Scanner

Users have said that by using an SFC scanner, they have solved the memory management problem without any hassle. To  launch the SFC scanner, follow the steps as mentioned below:

  • First of all, right-click on the Start button and then run the command prompt as an Admin. You will notice an intimidating text box popping up on your screen. 
  • Now type ‘sfc/scannow’  and then hit the Enter button. 

As you do so, the SFC scanner will run on your system to fix any such errors. 

Technique 2: Windows Memory Diagnostic Tool

This specific error is related to the memory of the system, which can be a physical problem with the installed RAM as well.

However, if this is the cause behind such error, take help from the Memory Diagnostic Tool on Windows. So, search for the ‘Windows Diagnostic Tool’ on your system and then select the first option that appears. Then select ‘Restart Now’.

  • First of all, press the Windows+S. This will bring the search box. Now type “cmd” and right-click on the Command Prompt. You must run it as an Administrator.
  • Following that, type “chkdsk /f /r” and hit the Enter button.
  • Now, it will ask “Would you like to schedule this volume to be checked next time the system restarts?”. If you see it, press “Y”.
