First, you have to make sure that whether you have some free space left in the Disk Utility or not. If yes, then you need to erase that space. 

To get rid of the free space from the Disk Utility, you have to do the following:

  • At first, you have to go to the ‘Application’ option. Then you have to choose the ‘Utility’ option and from there, choose the ‘Disk Utilities’ option.
  • Next, you have to press on the ‘Erase Free Space’ button.

Method-2: Setting the File to ‘Everyone’
