Enter ‘Command prompt’ in the Search box.  

In the search results list, swipe down on or right-click Command Prompt, and then tap or click ‘Run as administrator.’

After opening the Command Prompt dialog box, enter the commands and hit on the Enter Key after every command.

DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /Scanhealth

DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /Restorehealth

Now put the Exit command on the Command Prompt and press the Enter key to close it.

This process might take a few minutes to complete the whole system. Moreover, make sure your system is running during the process, or it might harm your device.

 

After doing the step press the Ctrl key + Alt key + Del keys together. Now you can see the Task Manager tab will open on your Windows screen.

Click on the More Details if it necessary.

From the Processes tab, scroll to locate Cortana and click it one time.

Click End Task.

Now hit the Restart key of the device.
